I research how artificial intelligence and digital technologies transform organizations, markets, and society. My work integrates perspectives from information systems, economics, and data science to advance understanding of AI fairness, digital platforms, and entrepreneurship ecosystems.
Currently serving as Area Head for Information Technology and Web Science and Principal Investigator for the NSF I-Corps Program at RPI.

Reducing Subgroup Differences in Personnel Selection Through Machine Learning
Demonstrates how oversampling techniques can mitigate algorithmic bias in applicant selection models. Received the 2025 Personnel Psychology Best Paper Award and SIOP Jeanneret Award.

ChatMFG: Secure LLMs for Manufacturing
Building secure, on-premise large language model solutions for manufacturers who cannot expose proprietary data to cloud platforms. Developed through RPI’s Center for Smart Convergent Manufacturing Systems.
